I thought I would give you a quick update on goings on at O2 Litmus.
In the run up to Mobile World Congress (http://www.mobileworldcongress.com/) we already have a busy programme of engagements.
I’ll be discussing the O2 Litmus concept and our plans with a number of journalists in preparation for MWC, plus whilst we are out there we will be sponsoring the Mobile Monday Peer Awards, speaking at the Business of Mobile 2.0 conference, speaking at an Oracle Breakfast Briefing, sponsoring and speaking at the WIP Jam, and in-between all that, demo’ing and discussing O2 Litmus on the Telefónica stand.
After MWC there are a couple of Webinars coming up. The first hosted by Oracle (details TBC) on the 26th February, and the second with NavTeq on the 5th March – see here for more details: http://developer.navteq.com/showBlogDetails.do?messageId=8574
We hope all this activity will help spread the word and encourage app developers to get signed up and sharing their app’s with the O2 Litmus community.
In terms of O2 Litmus news our virtual Developer Lab in partnership with Device Anywhere went live on 23rd January. I’m convinced this will be a great tool for Developers, removing the headache of getting hold of O2 handsets to test and perfect their mobile apps. Be sure to check it out and sign up – O2 Litmus developers get 30 free hours!
You may have noticed a couple of weeks ago that we now have lots of lovely O2 customers in here. As promised we conducted our first targeted email campaign to the O2 Customer Base and we have an incredibility positive reaction. As you know, we strongly believe it’s the presence of real customers in O2 Litmus that will set us apart from all the other initiatives out there. Make sure you use the forums to connect with each other and get the co-creation moving!
Finally as a teaser we have a ground breaking partnership and new set of features lined up for March. Stay tuned for more info…
Oh, one last thing, check out my blog on the WIP Jam website – http://wipjam.com/ - let me know what you think.
