Q: How does O2 Litmus work?

A: Litmus is a platform / community/insert new fad name here (we don't get too hung up on giving it a label), that allows application developers to their apps to an audience made up of savvy, incentivised O2 UK customers.

The apps can be published as a test to gain the benefit of crowd sourced testing with the community, or put on sale to generate revenue.

O2 Litmus provides developers with a set of tools and resources, including APIs into the core O2 UK network, and the opportunity of 'spinning out' successful, community endorsed apps into the wider O2 UK customer base.

Q: Can you explain the relationship between O2 Litmus and the companies offering services within the O2 Litmus "Tools" section.

A: We aim to make O2 Litmus a one stop shop to help Developers improve their apps via interactions with O2 Customers. We want to help them make money by selling their apps, and to help develop their business by offering a range of 3rd party services through the partners promoted in the "Tools" section.

If you are interested in any of the services offered by the companies appearing in the "Tools" section, you can contact them directly to find out more information or to buy services from the partner.

You will be entering into an agreement with the 3rd party supplier and not O2 for those services. You have the opportunity to feedback and share your experiences with our partners via the O2 Litmus Forums.
