MobiSnap application instructs a camera phone to take a picture on receiving a valid SMS command and sends the image back to the user by MMS.
Start the MobiSnap application on your phone (MobiSnap-phone) and leave it at home or anywhere you want to monitor while you are away. The software uses the rear camera as default to get the best quality picture possible. Therefore please ensure to open the lens cover of the rear camera, if one is present, and you are set to go!
This is easy to set up and use, it is also a great fun to see and spy on what’s happening when you’re not there!
Instructions
1) After installation, start MobiSnap.
2) Using a second phone, send the word “snap” by an SMS message to the MobiSnap-phone, to receive one captured image by MMS. This may take around 30 seconds or more to be received based on the network traffic and the captured image size.
To view captured images on the MobiSnap-phone, go to "Phones main Menu->Gallery->Images".
To view captured images on a computer, connect your MobiSnap-phone to the computer and use appropriate PC connectivity software (that is provided with your smart phone), then go to "Phone Memory(C:)->Data->MobiSnap" or "Memory Card (E:)->MobiSnap".
Note: Ensure both phones have correct MMS settings provided by your network operator. For more details contact your network provider.
